Friday Night Project is a club for young people aged 16 and over with mild to moderate learning disabilities that aims to provide opportunities for young people to develop new skills, make new friends and become more socially independent.
Many young people with disabilities have less independence than their peers and are unable to experience social events in quite the same way as other young people. We aim to give back some of that independence and encourage young people to choose the activities that they want to do week by week.
Friday Night Project activities are fully supported by our qualified staff and our fantastic team of volunteers. We always welcome new volunteers so if you can spare a few hours a week, please consider volunteering with us.
Support carers are welcome to attend as we are unable to offer one-to-one support.
