Live It!

Supported physical activities for adults aged 30+ with learning disabilities

Participants have the opportunity to benefit from team activity, develop their communication skills, increase their confidence and improve their physical and mental wellbeing.

Live It! activities offer a range of sessions and are led by a qualified coaches or instructors. Activities are held at the YMCA Sports and Community Centre in Redhill, YMCA Sovereign Centre in Reigate or in day centres and residential homes throughout Reigate and Banstead.

Live It! Activities

Live It! Lunch Club
Come and join us for a physical activity followed by a sandwich lunch. Runs term-time only.

Participants can choose from a range of mixed activities such as basketball, boccia, kwik cricket, dance and much more.

Enjoy the exciting Paralympic sport of Boccia!

Health Workshops
Live It! participants can benefit from attending health and healthy eating workshops to learn about their body, nurition and healthy recipies. These can be tailor made for groups.

Using the YMCA’s inclusive gym, participants can improve their fitness, strengthen and tone the body and have fun! Participants will receive a free induction and a personal gym programme. Assisted open sessions are available. All inductions need to be booked in advance by calling 01737 779979.


Costs start from £3.50 per activity session and the Lunch Club will cost an additional £3.50. No charge will be made for carers or support workers to attend activity sessions. 

Volunteer with us

Participants can get involved with assisting coaches during sessions to mentoring others on the Live It! programme. Training in leadership skills and first aid is available. All volunteers will be asked to complete a DBS check prior to volunteering.
