YMCA East Surrey is an inspiring and exciting place to work. We pride ourselves on our services to the local community, especially for vulnerable or disadvantaged people. We help people realise their potential, and by joining us, you can too!

We rely on enthusiastic and committed people to help us deliver our wide range of services to the community. Currently, we employ over 100 members of staff in many diverse roles from housing support, play work, youth work, sport and fitness, counselling and administrative support. We also employ bank staff and seasonal staff to help us during peak periods and we welcome help from volunteers.

We also offer an incremental annual leave entitlement scheme. Once you have completed two years service, your annual leave entitlement will increase by a day each year (pro rata if part-time) up to a maximum entitlement after six years service.

We encourage all staff to attend ongoing training courses so that they have the skills to carry out their roles effectively. All staff have regular one-to-ones with their line managers and an annual review to ensure staff feel fully supported and have opportunities for learning and development.
