At YMCA Horley Young People and Family Centre we aim to provide a welcoming, safe and caring environment where staff work together with families to help them achieve better life opportunities.

Our purpose is to create a happy, safe and secure environment where each child and their parents are valued and encouraged to reach their full potential. Our workers are trained and experienced in helping families work through a wide variety of challenges, including; separation and divorce, domestic abuse, financial hardship, problems engaging with education, behavioural issues, communication breakdowns and parenting skills.

We aspire to make a positive difference whilst respecting the uniqueness of each and every family, working alongside you to support and strengthen family life.

We welcome and encourage parents and carers involvement in all aspects of the development and delivery of the centre in order to ensure our offer is shaped to meet the needs of the community we serve.

Together with the child or family, a bespoke action plan using Outcome Family Star with SMART outcomes will be co-designed, responding to the needs identified in the Assessment.
