This ride is perfect for beginners or those getting back into cycling and a great way to set yourself a fitness goal for 2019.
Starting at 10:00 from the YMCA East Surrey Sports and Community Centre in Redhill, you will cycle 50 miles following quiet roads on the Surrey Cycleway to Rudgwick before embarking on the Downslink to Shoreham finishing on the Brighton sea front for Fish and Chips.
The ride will be fully supported by our volunteer cycle leaders and event support team.
The cost will be £35 and will cover training, event t-shirt, commemorative medal, tea stop on the Downslink and fish and chips at the end!
Join our FREE, friendly and fun training programme designed to give you the fitness and stamina you will need to achieve your goal. Weekly Tuesday evening rides will take place at 18:30 from the YMCA in Redhill starting on Tuesday 2 April.
The entry fee purely covers the cost of the event. Although we have not specified a target, we are hoping you will feel inspired by our work in the community and what we are trying to achieve and consider fundraising for us.
Here at YMCA East Surrey, we are renowned for our activities for adults and children with disabilities offering a wide range of services and activities to help people improve their health and wellbeing. Another major part of our work is to provide services for young people struggling with emotional wellbeing, finding employment and experiencing homelessness. All money raised from our events this year, will provide much needed funds to ensure we can continue this charitable work and provide a safe and inclusive community for our children and young people.
