Last updated: Thursday 20 January 2022

From Thursday 27 January, people will no longer be legally required to wear a face covering, but the government suggests wearing one in crowded and indoor spaces where you may come into contact with people you do not normally meet.

For the protection of staff and vulnerable visitors, we will be recommending wearing a face mask in our communal areas if people are able to. Please continue to socially distance where possible when attending our centres.

We will:

  • Continue to provide sanitisation stations for you to use
  • Maintain enhanced regularly cleaning at our centres
  • Retain screens at reception and signage around our centres
  • Provide adequate ventilation in our centres

We ask all visitors to self-assess before attending any of our centres for COVID-19 symptoms (a high temperature; a new, continuous cough; a loss of, or change to sense of smell or taste). If you have one or more of these symptoms (even if they are mild) you should not attend the centre or participate in any sporting activity and follow NHS guidance on testing and self-isolation.

We will publish updates on this webpage and on our social media channels if there are any changes to services and notify users directly by email, where possible.

Coronavirus (COVID-19) risk assessments

We are committed to providing a safe and welcoming environment at each of our centres. We have completed coronavirus (COVID-19) specific risk assessments at each site and put in place appropriate actions to manage the risks identified. This is an ongoing priority for us and these risks assessments will be reviewed regularly to ensure that we are complying with government guidance to minimise transmission risk.
