YMCA East Surrey is looking for a qualified and experienced Exercise Referral Coordinator to develop, coordinate and deliver a programme of exercise referral and physical activity for adults with long-term health conditions, disabilities or other needs. The post holder must have a level 3 Exercise Referral qualification and hold a recognised Level 4 specialist population qualification such as cardiac or pulmonary rehabilitation.
YMCA East Surrey is extending our existing Sports and Community Centre and building a new Inclusive Sports Facility to provide more sport and physical activity sessions for those with a long term health condition or disability. The combination of this new, state-of-the-art facility and the YMCA’s welcoming and caring approach will create a centre of excellence for disability sport, rehabilitation and health and wellbeing for the whole community.

Job purpose – To develop, coordinate and deliver a programme of exercise referral and physical activity for adults with long-term health conditions, disabilities or other needs.
Hours of work – 40 hours per week including 1 hour paid lunch break per day. The working pattern may vary but core hours are Monday to Friday 09:00-17:00. Duty Officer cover/rota may be needed.
Pay Rate – £24,000 to £28,000 inclusive of class delivery. Number of classes depends on qualifications.
Location – YMCA Sports and Community Centre, Redhill
Annual Leave – Four weeks plus bank holidays. Holidays increase after two years’ service to a maximum of five weeks after six years’ service. The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year.
