YMCA East Surrey is looking for an enthusiastic and experienced Fitness Manager to lead our mainstream fitness programme at a very exciting time. We are near completion of our state of the art inclusive sports facility, and the next phase of building works includes an expansion to our gym and fitness studios. The successful applicant will be able to shape and manage our new fitness programme and lead our fitness team through this transition.

Job purpose – The management of the YMCA fitness facilities and the development of an innovative programme of group exercise classes and activities that are safe, effective and popular with a diverse range of adult users.
Hours of work – 40 hrs per week including 1 hour paid lunch break per day.
The working pattern may vary and some flexibility will be possible. There will however be a requirement to work at least one evening, one early morning and weekends on a rota system. The post holder will also be required to act as Duty Officer at set times.
Pay Rate – £28,000 to £30,000
Location – YMCA Sports and Community Centre, Redhill
Annual Leave – Five weeks plus bank holidays. Holidays increase after two years’ service to a maximum of six weeks after six years’ service. The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year.
