Job Purpose: To assist in the implementation of the 1-2-1 mentoring programme across East Surrey. Make contact with young people referred to YMCA East Surrey and build relationships with them with a view to developing an action plan to support their needs. This work is part of our Local Prevention contract commissioned by Surrey County Council which is formed by the Early Help offer.
Hours of work – 20 hours per week – 2 x 8-hour days and 1 x 4-hour day to be worked during working hours and weekdays and Monday – Friday. Please state your preference on your application form and this can be discussed at interview.
Location – Post to be based from YMCA Sovereign Centre with delivery across Epsom
Salary – £20,072 per annum FTE (£10,036 pro rata for 20 hours)
Annual Leave – 4 weeks plus bank holidays. Holidays increase after 2 years’ service to a maximum of 5 weeks’ pro-rata after 6 years’ service.
Benefits – The post holder will be entitled to free use of the YMCA Fitness Centre, and 20 hours half price childcare for dependents.
There is free parking available at all of our sites and the YMCA operates a Bike to Work Scheme.
