Job purpose – YMCA East Surrey is looking to recruit an enthusiastic, motivated individual to provide play opportunities for children in the community. During term time the role will be based Monday – Friday working on our After School Club supporting safe collection of children from local schools and providing play opportunities back at the centre.

In term time on Saturdays and 3 week days per week during the school holidays you will support in providing short breaks for families with children who have complex needs and disabilities.

Hours of work –  23.25 hours a week term time and 21 hours a week during holidays (with the option to work more hours), giving an average of 22.42 hours per week.

  • Term Time  Monday – Friday 14:45-18:00 
  • Saturdays 09:30-16:30
  • School Holidays  3 days Monday to Friday 09:30 – 16:30

Pay Rate – £15,350 – £16,286 FTE depending on age please.

Location Sovereign Centre, Reigate

Annual Leave – 4 weeks’ holiday plus bank holidays (pro–rata). The holiday year runs from 1 April – 31 March. An incremental increase applies with service and commences after 2 years completed service. A maximum of 5 weeks’ annual leave plus bank holidays (pro-rata) is available after 6 years’ service.
