Registered Nurse (Paediatrics and Learning Disabilities) Part Time, Fixed Term | Reigate

Are you a Registered Nurse looking for a new opportunity working with children and young people with disabilities, to help develop policies and procedures and deliver training to staff in relation to health care needs? If so, this brand new role is for you!

Job purpose: To work within a leading charitable organisation to support and advise the Children’s Services team to provide high quality, fully inclusive Short Break settings for children and young people with complex health needs and developmental disabilities – through a hands-on approach, with training and support for sessional staff.

Hours of work: 16 hours per week (8 hours on a Saturday during term time and 8 hours during the week). Our schemes run on term time Saturdays and Monday - Friday during school holidays and there is a requirement to support these schemes whilst they are running. This is a three-year fixed term contract.

Location: To be based from YMCA Sovereign Centre, Reigate but also supporting our teams accross Epsom & Ewell, Mole Valley, Tandridge and Crawley.

Salary / pay rate: £15,965 for 16 hours per week, (£39,912.50 FTE) including unsociable hours allowance.

Annual leave: Four weeks (pro-rata) plus bank holidays. Holidays increase after two years service to a maximum of five weeks pro-rata after six years service. The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year.
