Job purpose: YMCA East Surrey is looking to recruit an experienced and motivated individual to deliver stimulating and exciting short breaks services for children and young people with complex needs and disabilities during school holidays. Short breaks services provide children with disabilities enjoyable experiences away from their primary carers, which contributes to their personal and social development and reduces social isolation.

Hours of work: School Holidays - Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00 (40 hours per week) during 2 weeks at Easter and 3 weeks in Summer (Crawley playscheme and Epsom & Ewell play and youth schemes) Monday to Friday 09:00 – 17:00 (40 hours per week) during 12 weeks of holidays (Reigate playscheme only)

Location: Posts available at: Reigate: Sovereign Centre, Epsom & Ewell: Linden Bridge School, Worcester Park, Crawley: Manor Green School. Please specify your desired location in your application form.

Salary / pay rate: £12.88 per hour.

Annual leave: 4 weeks pro rata plus bank holidays. This will be discussed at interview. Holidays increase after 2 years’ service to a maximum of 5 weeks’ pro-rata after 6 years’ service.
