Are you an experienced in working with children and adults in the community and in the family home? Do you hold a minimum Level 3 NVQ or equivalent in Childcare or a relevant subject? Job purpose: To provide targeted, focused Family support for families with children aged up to 12 years old. Support will be tailored with families and offered at the right time as part of the Early Help process within Surrey. This will be delivered either at the Family Centre, out in the community or in service users’ own homes. The post holder will be required to work with families as a lone worker and will be responsible for adhering to lone worker policies and procedures. All services provided will support the delivery of the Family Centre Specification and Core Offer, which aims to enable children to achieve and improve outcomes.
Hours of work: 30 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 9.00am – 5.00pm (with 30 minutes for lunch)
Location: based from YMCA Horley Family Centre
Salary / pay rate: £25,500 FTE based on 35 hours per week (£21,857 pro rata for 30 hours per week).
Annual leave: Four weeks (pro-rata) plus bank holidays. Holidays increase after two years service to a maximum of five weeks pro-rata after six years service. The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year.
