Are you level 3 qualified in a subject relevant to working with children, young people and families gained in education or healt or social care? Are you experienced in working with children, young people and their parents both 1:1 and in groups? This role in our Emotional Wellbeing & Mental Health team could be for you!
Job purpose: Working primarily in and with partner schools, to engage with and offer advice and support to children and where appropriate, their families to improve their emotional health and wellbeing, strengthen personal resilience and develop healthy coping strategies. Support will be provided using highly relational interpersonal skills and delivered through a combination of 1:1, group, online and telephone interventions.
Hours of work: 35 hours per week Monday – Friday 8.30am-4.30pm. Term-time only (39 weeks per annum)
Location: Tadworth, Surrey
Salary / pay rate: £19,100 - £22,800 per annum including holiday pay, based on an FTE of £23,000 - £26,000 dependent on experience and qualifcations.
Annual leave: Four weeks (pro-rata) plus bank holidays to be taken during school holidays when your attendance at work is not required. Holidays increase after two years service to a maximum of five weeks pro-rata after six years service. The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year
