YMCA East Surrey’s Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health (EWMH) service includes Heads Together Youth Counselling Service alongside a range of other therapeutic services for children and families and a suite of community and school-based projects and services. As a partner service in Surrey Wellbeing Partnership, YMCA East Surrey has a significant role to play in delivering Mindworks – a transformational model of EWMH services for children and families across Surrey.

We are recruiting a Senior Administrator to support the development and expansion of our counselling and therapeutic services and to ensure the smooth running of these services. A knowledge of counselling or mental health awareness would be an advantage but is not essential. The ideal candidate will be a highly organised, professional and experienced administrator. They will work closely with our Senior Counselling Coordinator and EWMH Services Manager to ensure the smooth running of our service.

Job purpose: To undertake administration tasks to a high standard to ensure the smooth running of our counselling and therapeutic services and to support the development and expansion of these services.

Hours of work: 35 hours per week, Monday - Friday 9am to 5pm. 4 days per week (28 hours per week) will be considered. This role will have some office and some home working.

Location: Redhill, Surrey

Salary / pay rate: £23,000 - £25,000 per annum (pro rata for part time) depending on experience

Annual leave: 4 weeks per annum plus bank holidays. (Pro-rata for part time). The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year.
