Job purpose: If you are passionate about making a difference to the lives of young people, we would love to hear from you about this exciting role. Our ideal candidate will have a level 3 youth work qualification, experience of supporting young people in informal settings and will have excellent mentoring skills. The expected start date for this role is 26 September 2022 and finish date 31 March 2024
Hours of work: 24 hours per week (4 x 6 hour days 09:00- 15:00) to be worked during Monday – Friday.
Location: Horley, Surrey
Salary / pay rate: £15,085 - £17,485 pro rata for 24 hours - £22,000-£25,500 per annum FTE based on 35 hours per week
Annual leave: Four weeks (pro-rata) plus bank holidays. Holidays increase after two years service to a maximum of five weeks pro-rata after six years service. The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year.
Benefits: The post holder will be entitled to free use of the YMCA East Surrey fitness centre in Redhill and half price YMCA childcare for dependents. There is free parking available at YMCA East Surrey also operates a Bike to Work Scheme.
