Our supported housing consists of five properties across East Surrey, which offer a range of services from 24-hour support to semi-independent living for young homeless people.
YMCA Hillbrook House provides 44 rooms and 24-hour staffed services. We also provide semi-independent living accommodation across four smaller properties. Support is delivered by keyworkers in one-to-one key work sessions, as well as group work and activities which are linked to individual support plans. Our key workers provide help, support, information, as well as access to employment, training and education opportunities. We also provide links with statutory and other agencies/organisations that give specialist services and support, such as counselling.
We offer so much more than somewhere to stay. Our supported housing projects provide a place where young people feel safe and valued, form friendships, and develop the skills and confidence to move on with their lives.
