We're counting down to our October half-term holiday club starting next week at our YMCA Sports and Community Centre, as well as a trip day at The Old Pheasantry! Both filled with amazing activities and lots of opportunities for children to never get bored over the October half term.

What a weekend! 22 brilliant young people joined o

What a weekend! 22 brilliant young people joined our residential trip at @the_old_pheasantry for a mix of pumpkin carving, a silent disco, a spooky trail, a communal feast, and a cozy campfire.

The younger ones loved the open space and outdoor games, while the older attendees valued the chance to sit up chatting, make new friends, and share stories.

Join us at our Annual Showcase Event on 4 November to discover more about our charitable work in the community. Hear powerful stories from the people who use our services, alongside informal displays from our staff, volunteers, and young people.

The evening includes refreshments and a light buffet, as well as a chance to hear from our guest speakers:

Join us on Sunday 22 March for our popular Y2Y North Downs Challenge!

Now in its 19th year, the Y2Y North Downs Trek/Run follows the North Downs Way along the beautiful Surrey countryside. Choose between a 26.2 mile Marathon (starting in Guildford) or a 14 mile route (from Ranmore Common) with both routes finishing at YMCA East Surrey in Redhill. Each distance is well-marked with stunning views, undulating landscapes and occasional challenging hills.

Transport is available to both start points. We also provide refreshments at support stops en route as well as showers, changing, cake and hot/cold drinks at the finish back at the YMCA. Each route will have experienced leaders/backmarkers for navigational support.

Join us in 2026 and complete the journey from Redhill to Paris in 1, 2 or 3 days (with optional London start for the 1 day team). This event always evokes a real sense of achievement and is one not to miss!
All options are supported by our volunteer team who will provide picnic lunches, tea stops, snacks and refreshments along the way. Plus, join our free cycling training sessions from January to help you get ready for the challenge. On y va!
