Café Milk

Mondays | 10:00–12:00 (term-time)

Relaxed café style breastfeeding drop-in. Antenatal mums, partners welcome too. Skilled, evidence-based support with infant feeding from an NCT breastfeeding counsellor and peer supporters.

Horley Youth Club

Mondays | 15:15–16:45 (term-time)

Free youth club in Horley! Our Monday session is our junior youth club for young people in school years 6-9. Chill out with friends or make new ones while enjoying film nights, games, crafts, cooking, listening to music, PlayStation and much more!

Beatz music session (neurodiversity)

Mondays | 17:00-18:30 & 18:30-20:30 (term-time)

Music project for young people aged 11-16 who have neuro-diversity, whether diagnosed or undiagnosed, and want to meet and make music with similar young people. Call Steve Tait on 07523 331810 or email steve.tait@ymcaeastsurrey.org.uk.

Rainbow Group

Tuesdays | 10:30-12:00 (term-time)

Drop-in play session for families with children under five with additional needs. An opportunity to meet other parents and get advice from an Early Support Keyworker.

Rainbow Group is also starting a group for children with medical complex needs taking place on the first Tuesday of each month 12:30-14:00 (term time).

Baby Massage

Tuesdays | 13:00-14:00 (3 week course)

A 3-week workshop for non-mobile babies (from 8 weeks old) and caregivers. Learn baby massage with a qualified instructor to build attachment with your baby, support baby’s development, ease teething, colic and wind, aid sleep, and meet other parents

Playtime

Wednesdays | 10:00–11:30 (term-time)

A referral* only play session run with Home Start East Surrey for parents/carers with children aged 18 months to 5 years. The Horley Playtime group is a fun session for parents and children to enjoy together. Includes singing, art & crafts, play time and a snack. Our Senior Play Practitioner is also available each week to offer child-related advice including topics such as behaviour, potty training and school readiness.

Families can be referred for one of the following reasons:

  • Social isolation
  • Mental health and wellbeing
  • Enhancing child play opportunities
  • Support with play and child development
  • Bonding and attachment

Baby & Me

Thursdays | 10:00-11:30 (term-time)

A lovely, relaxed and friendly session for parents and their babies up to 18 months. This group is ideal for families who are looking for support with:

  • Baby development
  • Bonding and attachment
  • Play opportunities
  • Social development
  • Building confidence as a new parent

Each week there will be an opportunity to talk with our EYFS Senior Play Practitioner,Victoria, about baby-related topics including sleep issues, behaviour, reducing dummy use and working towards potty training.

Little Sensory Stars

Thursdays | 13:15-14:00

5-week course suitable for non-mobile babies. A great opportunity for parents and babies to learn more about the benefits of baby sensory. During the 5-week course, our Early Years Senior Practitioner, Victoria, will take you and your baby on a fun and interactive journey discovering baby massage (clothed), yoga moves and sensory techniques. Each week this interactive session will have a different theme.

The sessions are designed to help babies develop their vestibular systems, visual development and fine & gross motor skills. To ensure every family can access our groups and courses, we can offer free or reduced cost places to families who need additional support. If you feel you would benefit from this group, please speak to your health professional or a member of staff at the centre, so they can request a place for you.
