Family Centres

Activities and services to support family life.

YMCA East Surrey Family Centres offer a wide range of activities and services to support family life for parents and carers of children and young people aged 0-18 years (25 with additional needs and disabilities).

We work in partnership with Welcare and HomeStart East Surrey to ensure that services and support are available across East Surrey and at the following Family Centres:

We work with you to build on your strengths as a family.

Once we have agreed to work together, you will be allocated a dedicated Family Support Worker who will support you to achieve the best outcomes for you.

This could be on a 1:1 basis to support the needs of your family in the home and community. Once a family’s support needs are identified, there are a range of things we can do to make a positive difference:

  • Visit children at their schools and community
  • Visiting families in their homes or in the community – wherever work best for you
  • Working together with other partners to make sure you and your children are supported

We provide a range of parenting support activities through groups at our Family Centres and other community venues.
