YMCA East Surrey has been supporting children and young people with their emotional wellbeing for over 30 years. Our services have grown and evolved to support more children and young people who have been experiencing difficulties such as anxiety, poor self-esteem and feelings of hopelessness.
As part of the Mindworks Surrey service, we provide a wide range of services for children, young people and families to help them towards mental and emotional wellbeing.
Heads Together is YMCA East Surrey’s confidential free counselling service for 11-24-year-olds in various locations across East Surrey. We can offer face-to-face or virtual counselling sessions to suit you.
YMCA East Surrey’s Wellbeing Coordinators offer support to 8-18-year-olds to help support mental health and emotional wellbeing and achieve positive change through an outcome-based approach.
YMCA East Surrey’s Emotional Wellbeing and Mental Health team offers three specialist evidence-based therapies for adolescents.
Our Family Wellbeing service helps families set goals and identify needs through 1:1 or group support. We empower parents with the tools and knowledge to create a more supportive home environment.
WAVES is a youth group with a difference. If you’re between 11 (Year 7+) to 17 years old and experiencing stress with school, family or friends, or just finding it hard to cope, then come to one of our free WAVES sessions.
If you are struggling with your mental health or finding it hard to cope, you’re not alone. Step Forward offers free support and social group activities for young people aged 17-30 with mental health and emotional wellbeing needs.
