At The Old Pheasantry, we want everyone to feel welcome and comfortable. We are committed to being as inclusive as possible so that all children, young people, and guests can enjoy their stay.
Here are some of the accessibility features we offer:
- Downstairs bedroom – for anyone who may find stairs challenging, we have a bedroom located on the ground floor.
- Accessible downstairs bathroom – equipped to provide ease of use for guests with mobility needs.
- All-terrain wheelchair – available for use on our grounds to help everyone enjoy the outdoor spaces, even on uneven terrain.
Ramp access – an easy-to-use ramp is available for the front steps to ensure smooth entry into the building.- Rubber track pathway – we have added a rubber track around the main pathways to make moving around the site easier for wheelchair users and those with mobility aids, as the ground can be uneven in places.
- Bed guards on request – to support children and young people who may need additional safety while sleeping.
