We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic sessional workers to engage and inspire children and young people across our holiday, after-school and weekend children’s and youth clubs at various locations in East Surrey and West Sussex.
Being a YMCA sessional worker is an excellent way to fit in a job around studies or other commitments, as the hours are very flexible. The experience gained can be invaluable when considering careers and university courses in areas such as medicine, teaching, social work, Early Years and many other people-focused jobs and professions.
Please be aware that due to a comprehensive recruitment process, for successful candidates, it will take approximately 4-6 weeks from the offer of employment being made until you are able to start work with us.
Disability Play and Youth Worker / Disability Support Worker
Weekends (term-time) & Weekdays (School holidays) | Crawley, Epsom, Horsham, Mid Sussex & Reigate
Our schemes provide fun play and youth activities for children (aged 5-11) and young people (aged 12-18) with a wide range of disabilities. If you enjoy working in a busy and sociable environment then this could be the perfect job for you.
After School & Holiday Club Playworker
Weekdays during term-time & school holidays | Redhill & Reigate
Y-Kids After School & Holiday Clubs are open to children aged 4–12. Playworkers offer play opportunities and provide support to help children enjoy a range of activities from cooking to sports to arts and crafts.
Party Playworker
Sundays term-time | Redhill
Children’s Parties run at the YMCA Sports & Community Centre in Redhill. Playworkers are needed to work from 12:30 – 17:00 on Sunday term-time and should be enthusiastic, fun and engaging.
