Job purpose: To offer play opportunities with the child at the centre during After School Club. To provide support and offer each child stimulus in a creative and appropriate play environment considering current play values.
Hours of work: Term Time Monday to Friday 07:30 to 09:00, or 14:45 to 18.15 Holidays Monday to Friday between 07:45 and 18:15 Hours can be discussed at interview as to what applicants are looking for and if wanting to be employed on a sessional basis or if looking for a contracted position with set hours.
Location: YMCA Sports & Community Centre, Princes Road, Redhill, Surrey RH1 6JJ or in term time may also be based at: YMCA Sovereign Centre, Slipshatch Road, Reigate RH2 8HA
Salary / pay rate: Normal Rates of pay from 1st April 2023 are: £7.04 per hour aged under 18s £10.18 per hour aged 18 to 23s £10.42 per hour aged 23 and over
Annual leave: Four weeks (pro rata) plus bank holidays. Holidays increase after two years’ service to a maximum of five weeks pro-rata after six years’ service. The holiday year runs from 1 April to 31 March each year. Sessional staff will be paid 12.07% holiday pay for each shift worked
