On 6 and 7 August, young people with additional needs took part in a two day hike from Three Bridges along the route 20 and 21 cycle paths to Horley Guide Hut as part of their Duke of Edinburgh award.

October half-term with YMCA East Surrey

During the half term week, 47 different children with disabilities and complex needs attended YMCA East Surrey’s Yippee Playscheme, leading to a total 624 hours of Short Breaks care. This half term YMCA East Surrey offered an average of 33 spaces per day at the Sovereign Centre on their Yippee and Yip4Youth schemes for children and young people with disabilities. This totalled just under 1,000 hours of short break care across the week, providing support to a huge number of local families.
