5 January 2023

Who says that a goal or a challenge has to be huge to be worthwhile?

If your aim is to improve your fitness this year, find a fun group to walk with or get back on your bicycle after a while out of the saddle, there’s a local charity that is waiting to help.

YMCA East Surrey has a training programme of walks and cycle rides which are free to anyone who would like to join them.

Sunday group walks/runs start from 22 January, take place once each month and are open to all, especially those who have plans to take part in a YMCA Challenge event.

Monthly group training cycle rides begin on Sunday 29 January. Each day will usually have a choice of three rides (depending on the number of leaders available) ranging from 20+ miles. The shorter rides will be suitable for beginners and the longer rides are for more experienced cyclists.

YMCA East Surrey also has a variety of exciting and fun challenge events lined up throughout 2023. Sign up with friends or a partner or go it alone and meet like-minded people.
